This toolkit was built in collaboration with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) to follow the guidance in the CIS Handbook for Election Infrastructure Security.

Why Use The Toolkit

The toolkit is intended to support election offices and community organizations to improve their resilience against threat posed by use of information and communication technology in elections.

The toolkit is designed to augment the security programs of election offices with free operational tools and guidance that have been selected and curated to implement the recommendations in the CIS Handbook for Elections Infrastructure Security.
