Curricula is proud to announce our free security awareness training platform is now available as part of the GCA Cybersecurity Toolkit for Small Business. The Curricula platform is designed to help protect SMBs with up to 1,000 employees build a foundational security culture at no cost.
Since 2015, Curricula has worked with thousands of small businesses across the globe. We started to notice patterns between security maturity and security awareness training. Using Curricula’s Simple Security Awareness Maturity Model, we recognized that something needs to change to allow organizations to have access to a quality security awareness training program regardless of their maturity, size, and financial position. More importantly we understand that if the program isn’t fun or engaging, it’s a waste of everyone’s time.
Why Curricula?
We’ve spent almost a decade focusing on solving the problem of building a security culture within SMBs. Our content is produced by our in-house animation studio which utilizes storytelling to bring security training to life for every employee. While our episodes are short in nature (about 6-8 minutes each) they are packed with all the information needed to communicate cyber risk to every employee. Your employees will meet a series of security awareness heroes and villains delivered through short stories, all designed to make learning cyber fun for everyone.
With Curricula’s partnership with the Global Cyber Alliance, we’re now able to expand our free security awareness training platform which includes the following tools for SMBs:
Free Security Awareness Training
The core of Curricula is focused on creating fun and relatable training that employees enjoy. We are proud to offer some of our most popular security awareness training episodes that SMBs can use to train their staff on a variety of security topics. Our first episode included for free is Intro to Cybersecurity. This covers a variety of topics from ransomware to creating secure passwords. Second, we include our Phishing episode so employees can learn best practices on how to defend themselves against cyber attacks.
Free Phishing Simulator
Phishing simulations are becoming more popular by nature, but most SMBs have never run a simulation test themselves or had access to free tools to do so. Curricula enables every organization, regardless of size or technical abilities to send out their first phishing simulation test in just a few minutes. We suggest looking at our Phishing Simulation Guide for Beginners if you need some help getting started.
Free Security Awareness Downloads
SMBs can also utilize our free security awareness posters and other downloads to use in their program to promote the training. Our posters can be printed out and hung up or sent to employees to further influence training best practices.
Free LMS Content Creator
Most SMBs need to create custom training for their team on a variety of topics outside of security awareness. This is why we’ve included access to our custom content authoring software to try in the Curricula platform. Instead of buying another LMS or piece of software to create custom training, you can build it with some easy drag and drop tools to look like you custom designed an entire course.
Free Training Compliance Reports
The Curricula platform tracks and manages all the data for your training program inside of our learning management system. You can download summary reports, compliance reports, and detailed data about how your training program is doing.
Curricula creates better security outcomes with your employees
With our partnership we want to create better security outcomes for the millions of SMBs out there. Every business has to start somewhere on their security journey, so why not have some fun getting there?
